No Farm for "The Deuce"....Gotta Run!!!

This entire weekend has mostly been about rest and recovery. I didn't want to over do and end up at the start of the work week exhausted. Sunday rolled around this morning and while Shane drove, (Yes, he can drive again by himself...YaY!) to see his family in Magazine, I stayed here and enjoyed a visit with my brother, David. It's always nice when he comes up from Texarkana. He and Deuce, my four legged nephew come see me a lot. It's also fun, because he always takes me to Sam's Club for some major savings on shopping. I only needed one thing this weekend and that is the Neutragena Rainbath Shower Gel. It's 40 oz and lasts me 4 months. Best deal in town!


Today, we took David's new Honda Accord and it is very, very nice. It's always a butt puckering experience to ride with David, but I'm still a little medicated from being sick, so I made it ok. LOL! We stopped at Sonic for Happy Hour for a Diet Cherry Dr Pepper for $1. It hit the spot. He has a 6 cd changer and we were cruising to my Favorite, George Strait. You can never go wrong if George is playing....we were listening to the "lastest greatest straitest hits"!





Once we got home David had to load up and leave. My nephew was really barking and making sure he was not going to be left behind. On one of the previous trips, David left one of his weimarieners to relocate with my sister-in-laws in NWA, since they live on a farm. I guess Deuce was making sure that he was not going to the farm as well. This is his farewell to me before loading up in the car and hitting the highway....to the tune of George singing "Carrying Your Love with Me". It's their favorite song on the cd. He's moving so fast here, he's a little blurry, but he wasn't about to be left behind....it was "see ya, Aunt Tabby, wouldn't want to be ya!"
